Construcción Renovación PDC

Services

We work on the whole private home: the big job and the detail you have been putting off for months. Below is each service with what it covers, the situations it comes up in, and what is worth checking before starting.

You will find no prices and no timelines on this page, and that is deliberate: on a building site, the real condition of what sits behind the wall changes both. We give them after seeing your house, in writing.

House building and renovation

The core trade: new builds and full renovations.

We build and renovate private houses from start to finish: structure, masonry, finishes and coordination of the other trades. You deal with one point of contact for the whole project instead of chasing five trades that never speak to each other.

What it covers

  • New builds and extensions (bedroom, upper floor, utility room).
  • Controlled demolition and opening up spaces.
  • Masonry, walls, tie columns and rendering.
  • Floors, tiling, finishes and paint.
  • Doors, windows and bespoke carpentry.
  • Coordination of the electrical, plumbing and pool work on the same project.

When people ask for it

  • A house you have just bought and want to renovate before moving in.
  • Extending a bedroom, closing in a terrace or adding a floor.
  • Bringing a whole property up to standard to live in or to rent out.

What to check first

The state of the structure, damp in walls and slab, and where the existing services run. In a renovation, what shows up when the first wall is opened usually reshuffles the rest of the plan — which is why we look at the site before committing to anything.

Pools

Built from scratch, renovated, brought back to life.

We build new pools and renovate existing ones: shell, waterproofing, hydraulics, pump and filtration, finishes and lighting. We also recover pools that have been sitting idle for months, when nobody knows where to start any more.

What it covers

  • New pool: excavation, shell, waterproofing and finish.
  • Resurfacing: tile, plaster, stone.
  • Hydraulics, pump, filter and pipework.
  • Underwater lighting and sockets around the pool.
  • Ladder, coping, trim and sun deck.
  • Bringing idle pools back into service and tracing water loss.

When people ask for it

  • A pool losing water that nobody has managed to trace.
  • A rental property whose pool has to be spotless between two stays.
  • A garden where you want to fit a small pool without redoing everything.

What to check first

Ground level and type, machine access, the drainage point, and the electrical capacity available for the pump. In the tropics, sun, humidity and salt wear equipment and finishes faster than the manufacturer sheet suggests: the choice of materials matters as much as the build.

Electrical work of every kind

Full installations, extensions and fault finding.

Complete electrical installations and one-off repairs in private homes. From the consumer unit to the last spotlight on the terrace, including the dedicated lines the pool pump and the air conditioning need.

What it covers

  • New installations and extra circuits.
  • Consumer unit, breakers and earthing.
  • Indoor and outdoor lighting, spots and fittings.
  • Sockets, switches and dimmers.
  • Dedicated lines for pool pump, air conditioning and large appliances.
  • Fault finding: tripping circuits, shorts and consumption that does not add up.

When people ask for it

  • An older house that trips every time one more appliance is plugged in.
  • Terrace, garden and pool lighting still to be designed.
  • New air conditioning that needs a line of its own.

What to check first

The real state of the wiring and the capacity of the consumer unit before adding load: hanging new appliances off a saturated installation moves the problem rather than solving it. Outdoors, humidity and salt speed up corrosion, so the type of hardware and its protection rating are not a detail.

Indoor and outdoor kitchens

From the layout to the last handle.

Indoor kitchens and outdoor kitchens, complete or renovated in parts. We measure, draw the layout, build or fit the units and sort out the water, waste, gas and electrical points.

What it covers

  • Measuring up and layout design.
  • Base and wall units, drawers and hardware.
  • Worktops, splashback and trims.
  • Fitting the sink, extractor hood and appliances.
  • Water, waste, gas and socket points.
  • Outdoor kitchen with materials chosen for the weather.

When people ask for it

  • A closed kitchen you want to open onto the living room.
  • An outdoor kitchen by the pool for entertaining.
  • Refacing doors and worktop without tearing the whole kitchen out.

What to check first

Where the waste stack, the gas supply and the hood outlet sit: moving those three is what makes a kitchen expensive, not the units. Outdoors, the choice of material outranks the design, because sun and humidity make the difference by the second year.

Closets and wardrobes

Made to measure, because no recess is ever square.

Closets, walk-in wardrobes, pantries and storage built to the real size of the space. We measure the recess as it is, not as it should be, and plan the inside around what you are actually going to store.

What it covers

  • Measuring the real recess and planning the interior.
  • Bespoke closets and full walk-in wardrobes.
  • Sliding, folding or hinged doors.
  • Shelves, hanging rails, drawer blocks and shoe racks.
  • Kitchen pantries and bathroom units.
  • Lighting inside the unit.

When people ask for it

  • A bedroom with no closet, or with one that is unusable.
  • A walk-in wardrobe in a small room or under the stairs.
  • A rental where storage is the weak point.

What to check first

How square the walls and ceiling really are, damp in the outside wall, and whether services or access hatches sit behind the recess. A bespoke closet fitted against a damp wall rots from the inside before you notice.

Terraces

Shade, a floor, and water sent where it belongs.

Terraces, pergolas and outdoor roofs, new or rebuilt. We treat the floor, the shade, the waterproofing and the drainage as one job, because outdoors they always fail together.

What it covers

  • Slab, levelling and falls.
  • Pergolas and shade structures.
  • Outdoor floors: porcelain, stone, timber.
  • Low walls, benches and built-in planters.
  • Outdoor lighting and sockets.
  • Waterproofing and drainage.

When people ask for it

  • A roof terrace you want to make usable.
  • A poolside with no shade at all.
  • A condo terrace with lifted or stained flooring.

What to check first

The load capacity of the slab, the falls and the drainage. Badly directed water is the number one cause of damage on a terrace, well ahead of floor wear. And pergola fixings are calculated for wind, not just for weight.

Garden landscaping

Soil, water, paths and light.

We landscape gardens from start to finish: clearing the ground, soil, irrigation, planting, paths and lighting. We also bring back gardens that scrub and neglect have taken over.

What it covers

  • Clearing, brush cutting and removing rubble.
  • Levelling and topsoil.
  • Paths, walkways, edging and steps.
  • Planting and lawn areas.
  • Irrigation and water points.
  • Garden and outdoor lighting.

When people ask for it

  • Neglected ground turning back into a garden.
  • A garden around a new pool.
  • A house entrance that says nothing when you arrive.

What to check first

How the ground drains naturally and where water pools after rain. And the species: choosing plants that stand up to the climate, the sun exposure and the sea air saves replanting a year later.

Plumbing

Installations, leaks and water pressure.

Water supply and waste installations, repairs and leak tracing. From replacing all the pipework in a bathroom to the stain on the wall that comes back every time someone showers upstairs.

What it covers

  • Installing and replacing supply and waste pipework.
  • Bathroom units, toilets, showers and sinks.
  • Water heater and hot water.
  • Leak tracing and repair.
  • Cistern, tank, pump and pressure.
  • Waste runs, inspection chambers and unblocking.

When people ask for it

  • A full bathroom to renovate.
  • A leak that shows on the bill before it shows on the wall.
  • Not enough pressure on the upper floor.

What to check first

The material and age of the existing pipework, and where the inspection chambers are. A leak is traced before the repair is priced, never after: opening the wrong wall costs far more than the search.

Small jobs and repairs

The waiting list, in a single visit.

The small jobs nobody wants to come out for: hanging, fixing, adjusting, filling, assembling, replacing. We group them into one visit and leave with the list finished.

What it covers

  • Hanging and fixing: shelves, TV, frames, curtain rails, furniture.
  • Adjusting doors, locks and hinges.
  • Filling and touch-up paint.
  • Furniture assembly.
  • Replacing light fittings, sockets and taps.
  • Working through the list of jobs that has built up.

When people ask for it

  • A tenant moving in or out.
  • Eight jobs that have been on the fridge door for months.
  • A property you rarely visit that needs hands you can trust.

What to check first

It pays to group the jobs into one visit: sending the team out for a single screw is expensive for you and not serious on our side. Send the whole list on WhatsApp, even if it looks long.
